Your medicines are delivered by Royal Mail or our local delivery service depending on your location and the nature of your medication. Fridge items and controlled drugs always require a signature upon delivery. You can contact us for your tracking number.
Simply call us on 01253 867436 or email us at pharmacynorthwest@gmail.com. You (or your GP) can nominate Acer Pharmacy as your preferred dispensing pharmacy. Once registered, we will contact you when your prescription is due and handle everything else. You can also nominate us online through the NHS app.
You can nominate us by asking your GP surgery to send prescriptions to Acer Pharmacy, or by doing it yourself via the NHS app (Electronic Prescription Service). Our team can guide you through this simple process — just give us a call.
Our free blister pack service organises your medications into individual doses by day and time (morning, afternoon, evening, night). This is ideal for patients managing multiple medications, reducing the risk of missed or incorrect doses, and providing peace of mind for carers and family members.
NHS Pharmacy First allows you to get treatment for certain common conditions from our pharmacist without needing a GP appointment. Eligible conditions include impetigo, shingles, insect bites & stings, sore throat, urinary tract infections (women), and sinusitis. Subject to eligibility criteria and a consultation with our pharmacist.
According to NHS rules, we cannot accept prescription medicine returns for safety and legal reasons. However, you can return unwanted medicines to any pharmacy — not just the one you got them from. For any concerns, please contact us directly. If you receive a defective or damaged product, let us know within 7 days and we will arrange a replacement or refund.
If you urgently need medication, please contact us by telephone. We have an Emergency Supply Procedure that can be initiated by your doctor or by you. Please note that as an online pharmacy, we dispatch medication rather than provide in-person consultations, and some emergency supplies may incur a charge even if you are normally exempt from prescription charges.
